They may be some of the best top scorers, but they have never led the league nor won an NBA scoring title at any point in their career.

Paul Pierce

Despite being consistent throughout his entire career, he always almost never makes it to the NBA Score leaderboard. He’s often considered as one of the most clutch players in the entire history of the NBA, a player with truly a respectable feat.

Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley is merely overlooked by the younger generation of basketball fans and online sports betting fans alike. The truth is, he’s actually a dominant force in his team, considered to be at the top power forwards in NBA. He plays aggressively and ensures to dominate each game with great defense.

One of the few reasons why Barkley never won an NBA scoring title is that he’s in the same era as Michael Jordan and no one can completely blame him for that. His highest scoring season was in 1987-1988 with well over 28.3 PPG.

Dirk Nowitzki

Nowitzki is one of those players who sit on the scoring charts just under Michael Jordan. What made him take the 6th greatest scorer ever in total points scored overall is the fact that he’s almost unstoppable. His fadeaway and other shots almost could never be blocked all thanks to his massive height.

He’s also a Hall of Famer, an NBA Champion, Finals MVP, but certainly one that has never won a scoring title in his career. His highest scoring season was from 2005 to 2006 with 26.6 PPG.

Hakeem Olajuwon

Just like Nowitzki, Olajuwon is a big man with almost had no weak spot. The way he maneuvers around the playing field such as pump fakes and turnaround jumps are what most NBA and sports betting fans would recall about him. He was mostly known for winning 2 straight NBA titles for the Houston Rockets.

However, just like everyone else on our list, he has never won an NBA scoring title. His highest scoring season was in 1994 to 1995 with 27.8 PPG.

Larry Bird

Also known as Larry Legend amongst fans, this 12-time All-Star and Hall of Famer was a force to be reckoned with him being such a phenomenal scorer. His endurance and ability to attack the rim have always been his greatest strength and he’s arguably almost as dominant as Stephen Curry.

The most likely reason why he has never won an NBA scoring title is the fact that he has been playing on great teams over his entire career, making it extra difficult for him to dominate his team. But he’s certainly a versatile player with such a high track record of being one of the best scorers of all time.

His highest scoring season was from 1987-1988 with 29.9 PPG.

Karl Malone

Karl Malone is probably one of the most baffling NBA players who have never won a scoring title in his entire career. In terms of ranking, he’s definitely amongst the greatest scorers of all time. He was mainly a leader and main scorer during his career, making him one of the most feared players of his generation.

Like everyone else on this list, there can be several reasons as to why he has never won an NBA scoring title and that’s probably because of the fact that Michael Jordan is completely dominating during his entire career.

Elgin Baylor

Elgin Baylon is certainly the best team scorer who has never won a scoring title. His numbers don’t even lie. Baylon has been ranked the third-best of all time and that’s regardless of position. Despite his high career PPG, he could never get ahead of Wilt Chamberlain, stopping him from winning a scoring title.
